World’s fastest iOS build process: a0.dev turns your project into a signed .ipa, hosts it, and generates a QR code for installation in seconds.

-
AI-driven development modes & deep integrations: Agent Mode, Thinking Mode, Turbo Model, Convex real-time features, and GitHub two-way sync streamline coding, context search, and version control.
Summary
Section titled “Summary”One of the most striking innovations in a0.dev is its “WAGMA” ethos (“We Are All Gonna Make Apps”), which powers a fully automated DevOps pipeline behind a natural-language interface. You simply connect your App Store Developer Account through a guided wizard and watch as a0.dev handles building, signing, hosting, and provisioning—then hands you a QR code to install your app in moments—obliterating traditional mobile deployment complexity.
2026.09.08
Section titled “2026.09.08”Status: still around — and actually scaled up. Very much live and well into 2026 (site last verified 2026-07-31). Same YC W25 team (Seth Setse / Ayomide “Ayo”), and the WAGMA ethos is intact.
- Repositioned tagline from “mobile from your mobile” to “Ship Mobile Apps to App Store & Google Play with AI” — they’ve gone all-in on both stores (not just iOS). Claims 200k+ users / 300k+ apps created now.
- Now an AI coding agent (reads file system, edits code, searches context) with one-click publishing to App Store and Google Play (plus APK + web). Backend via Convex or Supabase, built-in AI inference + image-gen APIs, payments/subscriptions, and an analytics dashboard.
- A real mobile companion app exists, but with an important caveat: app creation is desktop-browser-only, while the mobile app (currently iOS on the App Store; Android “coming soon”) is for viewing/interacting with your published apps.
- What happened / the twist: the earlier full-featured iOS builder app was pulled from the App Store in early 2026 after Apple rejections (founder documented the failed appeals on X, Mar 2026, “gone with a different solution”). The iOS app now on the store is the viewer/companion role — so the “build on your phone” promise that made a0.dev stand out is effectively desktop-only for now.
- Pricing: free tier; Pro $20/mo, Max $200/mo. New Sleek x a0 integration (design in Sleek → build in a0). Caveat from 2026 reviews: the managed pipeline still stops at “standard” apps — deep native features (Bluetooth, sensors, custom native modules) need hand-written React Native.
- Competitors they’re most often compared to now: Rork, Replit, Vibecode, Superappp, Mobilable.
