Systems thatfinish the work.

Okita is an AI systems studio led by Alex Okita. Technical art. Software engineering. Office and research assistants. LLMs trained to write and act in your environment — locally and offline when the data cannot leave the building.

Practice

Seven disciplines. One production mind.

We do not sell prompts. We design the machinery around models so the work can be directed, reviewed, and shipped.

Method

A crew, not a chatbot.

The same production grammar from film and games: brief, specialist roles, dailies, and a director who can cut.

01

Brief

We name the job, the constraints, the failure modes, and what done looks like. No fog. No theater.

02

Harness

Roles, tools, memory, and review are designed before we scale generation. The system has to be steerable.

03

Produce

Agents, models, and people run the work in cycles. Short tasks move fast. Long-horizon programs keep a spine.

04

Judge

Evaluation, art direction, and engineering review. If it cannot be inspected, it is not a deliverable.

Principal

Alex Okita built this practice from pictures, engines, and space.

Alex Okita is a technical artist and software engineer with a career spanning film, television, video games, AR/VR/XR, and web applications. He began as a concept artist at Bungie, later worked as a spatial interaction engineer at Occipital, and is the author of Learning C# Programming with Unity 3D. He now designs AI harnesses, multi-agent systems, and generative media pipelines.

Bungie

Concept artist — early career in games, including work around Oni.

Film, TV & AAA

Technical artist across film and game productions: assets, tools, and pipelines.

Occipital

Spatial interaction engineer. Teaching machines to see and occupy real space.

CRC Press

Author of Learning C# Programming with Unity 3D.

Engagement

Hire for a slice, a build, an office, or a long horizon.

1–2 weeks
Diagnostic

A hard look at the current stack, failure modes, and the smallest harness that would actually work.

3–12 weeks
Build

Design and ship a system: agents, office or research assistant, LLM skills, generative pipeline, XR runtime, or operator console.

Days to weeks
Office install

Hardware, accounts, and a small agent assistant in the room — including local, offline models when data cannot leave the building.

Ongoing
Retain

A principal on the line for long-horizon programs — direction, evaluation, and production firefighting.
