Who we are

This site is operated by Okita (“Okita,” “we,” “us”), an independent studio at https://okita.tech. We are based in Los Gatos, California. For questions about this policy, write alex@okita.tech.

Information we collect

When you visit the site, our host and advertising partners automatically receive standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and the date and time of the request. That traffic is needed to serve the site, keep it secure, and measure how it is used.

If you use the contact form, you choose to send us a name, email address, a service focus, and a message. Those fields are opened in your own mail client and sent to alex@okita.tech. We do not run a separate form database on this site.

If you email, call, or write us directly, we keep whatever you send for as long as we need it to answer you and run the studio.

How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve okita.tech.
• To answer briefs and other messages you send us.
• To display advertising, including personalized ads.
• To measure traffic and ad performance in aggregate.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use contact-form or email contents to build advertising audiences.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage) to remember preferences, understand how the site is used, serve ads, cap how often you see the same ad, and fight fraud and abuse.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site and some ads may not work correctly if you do.

Opting out of personalized ads does not mean you will see no ads. You may still see ads based on the page you are viewing and other non-personalized signals.

Hosting and other processors

The site is hosted on infrastructure provided by Vercel. Vercel may process request logs (including IP address) to operate the platform. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Email you send us is handled by our email provider. We do not share those messages with advertisers.

Retention

Server and advertising logs are kept for as long as the host or ad partner needs them to operate the service, typically a limited window. Messages you send us are kept for the life of the conversation and our ordinary business records, then deleted or archived when they are no longer needed.

Children

okita.tech is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write alex@okita.tech and we will delete it.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent management platform before personalized ads and non-essential advertising cookies can be used. You may see a consent request for that purpose. You can withdraw or change advertising consent through that prompt, through Google Ads Settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information we hold, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email alex@okita.tech.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site, our advertising setup, or the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top of the page is the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you have read the updated policy.
